Hi All,
Just picked up a scout, needs a bit of a tidy up, the old owners stripped out the motor, but left all the electrics, what options do i have for putting a motor pack in? do i need to get the offical toylander one? or can i make one from either an old lawn mower engine or moblity scooter?

Hi Forever,
If you were to fit a mobility scooter go for one with ten inch wheels as I think these would be the best size. the 12" wheels supplied with these  cars were out of proportion and spoiled the look and subsequently sales. I will relaunch the Scout soon just as soon as I can work out the drive to the main wheel.
