Well !! That's it...all finished and fully "kid" tested....Took it up the local sports field and the grandkids x 4 had a great time for about 90 mins....everything worked and we had plenty of battery left at the end....I have really enjoyed building this and found it very strightforward....Big thanks to Richard at HQ for all his patience and super service, He even turned out some "wheel retaining washers" for the trailer.
Now...must retire to the shed to repair the "ding" in the front grill.

Lovely Job Wilber,

Thank you for the kind comments and I'm glad you got the washers in good time.
Best wishes

Hi Wilber,
And very nice it looks too!!  I take it that the trailer (for the Tractor) will fit in the back of the car?
Or are you going to do a 'Road Train' with the little trailer bringing up the rear? Cheesy Cheesy

Good prices at Towsure, you couldn't have bought a ready made trailer for that amount. And it looks quite flat, so it will stand on end for ease of storage, perfick!!

Keep Busy,
Regards,
Mark.

Haven't worked out yet how to transport the "tractor trailer" I'm thinking of getting it to sit on top of the tractor "inverted"  I will send a photo if I sort it....otherwise it "brakes down" quite flat for the back of the car,

I'm building a Toylander 2 for a friend's son but for some time, had thoughts about using it to tow some gang mowers so he could cut the lawn at the same time as playing! My friend's wife isn't keen on the idea as she wants the clippings collected in a grass box, otherwise the kids bring them into the house, so that's that. However, if anyone is interested, there are two sets of small, 3 gang mowers for sale on ebay ending in a few days, one at £5, one at £30. I thought they may be ideal for towing behind a tractor, hence I'm posting in here. I imagine the tractor would have enough power to tow all three (no different to a trailer really) but if not, then 3 people could each tow one of them! Need to keep kids fingers clear of the blades obviously so it may be a good idea to enclose them a bit more. Mike
