Hi Tosh, The small piece of angle needs to be fitted to the top of the axle to stop the steering column foot getting past the top of the axle should you have fully turned right lock and the nearside wheel be on full compression. ATB Richard
I can't see that piece of angle anywhere in the instruction book. I am assuming it screws on the axle at the steering column end in the pre-drilled holes. Does the angle sit up, down, left or right? Or am I grabbing the wrong end of the stick
Thanks
You will need to drill your own hole, mounting the angle on the
top face as close to the end of the axle as possible. Have the upright face of the angle bracket flush with the axle face. This mod is to overcome the possiblity of the steering column end becoming jammed on top of the axle. It is a new mod and not yet in the manual.
