Ok progress this week......
Mocked up the steering and fitted tyres to rims (2 tubes blew up grrr

), made all the holes for the lights and stuck the front panel on. I also got some lights to fit the front.........

Lights test fitting...........

Springs......

Funky Steering wheel............

Well thats it for now, things will start to slow down from here on as the complex bits take some time to get right unlike the body work which was a cut, glue and fit job.......
Next will be steering coloum, front axle location and arms and fitting the springs.............................
Setup the steering linkages + steering coloum, and got every thing in place after hours of head scratching trying to make everything work together. I also set up the front springs and associated hardware to go with it, including some spring retainers..................pics.......

Next up are the arms and panhard rod, hopefully i will finish them in the next couple of days, afterwhich i will get cracking with the rear setup, which will be a copy of the front but a bit more beefier, due to the torque loads from the motor. I still need to get the rear springs sorted as space is tight at the rear. Anybody have an idea what i can use as small shocks???
This weeks progress......
Finalised the front and got cracking with the rear. Clearances at full lock are tight but it should be fine........ I also put some bump stops.......

Skid plate to follow.....

Thats it for now, hopefully next week all the major mechanical bits will be ready.........
