Hi, My toylander build

Hi mark, well there are several house jobs that need to be seen to, like painting plastering yada yada yada.......... i have to keep the missus happy as well, i have been postponing several home improvement projects to finish these 2 projects. So now i have to keep up my word that the home will be seen to, than i will tackle my off road race buggy which has been sitting in a store for the past 4 years, maybe i get racing again.

Quick update, toylander was out for the day after 10 months idle due to the rebuild of my big landy, together with my buggy, we were at a charity car show so i got out all the fleet of toys!





I am determined to make the toylander a bit more drivable as its high geared and will do nearly 8 mph or flat ground, to quick for kids, and also some sort of steering box, so 2010 will be upgrade year.

Finally managed to get the toylander up and running and went out this weekend for a good run.

Kids had a blast, and so did the parents

Upgrade included gearing the steering, gearing down the wheels, and suspension shocks

Very happy with the gearing now and the shocks have performed brilliantly

Hi Patrick,
I thought your springs needed some damping when I saw your previous videos as the T2 seemed to be bouncing around so well done!
How did you gear the steering?
I presumed you geared the wheels using chains and sprockets and hence had to relocate the motor?
Would love to see some more photos if you have time to upload them.
