hi all after plenty of um'ing or arr'ing ive decided to go ahead and have a go at building a toylander 2 for my son hes 3 next august so hoping to have it finished around then i recently rebuilt my defender 90 so theres something missing in my life now so going to have ago at this haha anyway expect plenty of silly questions from me and apologies in advance! i hope its a forgiving forum unlike some others that i have been a part of

I think you will find all on here as friendly a group of individuals as you could wish to correspond with.

We all offer our help and best wishes freely and with good humour.

Good luck with your build, try and follow one of the build threads from start to finnish, this will give you a feel for the mindset of the builder and make life a lot easier, I hope.

thanks brian! im just waiting for the plans and drawings to turn up now quite excited im into off roading and land rovers and my son just loves trucks its a struggle for the girlfriend to get him in a car now as he likes "daddys truck" so i thought building him his own truck for the summer would be perfect! im a fabricator by trade so i hope this will give me some comfort in the build but i do like a challenge and im really looking forward to it just wish the plans were here now! anyway im sure ill speak soon thanks

hi mate i live in a village not to far from mablethorpe im just trying to find the time to get started works a bit hectic at the moment

warm welcomes , you will no doubt enjoy the project , i spend a bit of time near mablethorpe , theddlethorpe to be exact often thought about taking geep to run to mabethorpe down beach for a paper in the mornings never take grand kids with us though no room in car when all dogs in ,              best wishes,     andy,
