A rather well finished green toylander 2 has popped up in the gallery section recently, and i was wondering who's this is?

i like the gauges, one of them is from a landrover series i belive? the other one looks like something familiar, there quite efective anyway.

:o  Wow its very nice, not mine but now I've got a paint finish to aim for.  How many coats to get to that degree of reflection. Mine still has that PVA wood finish look. :)
Mad on miniatures steam and now toylanders

a few tins of primer filler and alot of elbow grease.... primer filler sprayed on, sanded off primier filler on sanded off, just build it up.... a good paint finish is 90% preperation.....

Personally i wouldnt go black its a nightmare colour to get right far worse than you imagine, ask anyone with a black car mad as it sounds white in all honesty is alot easier colour to paint and get a good finish on.. better to go brunswick green (land rover colour) in all honesty...  or limestone (off cream / white)

Hi Bob,
Sorry to be a pain, but are we talking about the Brunswick Green S2 with the lovely pinstripe job (LOU 1S), Or the Olive Green S2 (REW 212) in the galley?

Please clear this up for me.
Regards,
Mark.

Hi, the green Toylander 2 is my build. Thanks for comments, I am very pleased with the result. Top coat was by local car repair shop (2 pack), as I do not have any spray kit. Tyres were sourced from Richard, but I think he is finding it difficult to get any more. Number plate number is from my mothers first car, green Moggy convertible, many happy memories.
