Thanks Brian,

I'll let our Brian know, he should be putting together the Geepster this week with one of the apprentices, it's almost ready to start putting the motor etc on the tub and with a bit of effort may get it going this week.

I'll get him t contact you about your new venture.

Best regards

Steve

Hi fellow toylanders,

Just Completed the TL2 with a designer number plate, the family have V21 registrations on their vehicles, 2 sons, mine and Mrs Sooty so we thught it only right that we should fit V21 KID for the grandkids. I managed to source a local company who agreed to make me one from Stainless Steel and etch the Black ink away to leave the silver lettering. Just the finishing touch, now I only need to make the dummy engine, but first - a holiday.

Hi all,

Just completed the trailer for the TL2, I have however modified the hitch slightly by adding a Rose Bearing for the trailer and fitting 2 bushes and a stainless steel draw pin which fits through the centre of the Rose Bearing. I have also fitted a 5 Pin Din plug and socket to connect the tail, brake and indicators. Just waiting now for a new number plate.

Not sure how the kids will manager reversing it though, I may need to touch up some of the paint work by the end of the summer.

Just thought I would update with recent changes, over the summer I was summoned to move the Toylander and trailer from the conservatory. luckily I have a very good neighbour who I asked to build me a garage for it and what a great job he made, now I can store the TL2 in their with it's trailer, ramps and charger and secure it with a 20mm steel bar across the front.

My grandson has just had a birthday party with 5 friends where we set up a figure 8 track and had a LeMans style race and then a parking/slalom/reversing test which they loved and not a computer game in sight for 2 hours. lots of fresh air, sun and running about, will put video up later.

Sorry for the delay, I was working on the Ipad and it wouldn't load the photo's for some reason,
Photo's show new garage with TL2 and trailer. It also shows additional security of a 3/4" steel bar across front of Toylander drilled through side wall of garage and into opposite wall then fitted with padlock.
