Hi all,
I'm Ron from the Netherlands and I just started my build. I'm building the car for myself ...eeeehh.... I mean my two daughters which are 9 months old and 3 year old

. My 3 year old really fancy's all Mini Coopers (new or old model) Every time she see one driving by, she's shouting
"Cooper! dad I see a Cooper!"
So what should have become a standard TL2 (bought the plans in 2009), soon was changed for a full custom designed classic mini cooper convertible. I't looks quite good in my drawings (I think) just hope the real ons comes out just as good!
I've build a frame using 20mm steel box section, with swinging front axle. The Mini tub will be made mainly from 12mm MR MDF. I'm giong to use a 24V scooter axle and probably a 4QD electronic speed control. As for the wheels I use go-kart wheels (5") which are a perfect 1:2 scale for my build.
First sheet of MDF is on order, as soon as I made the main sections I can start on the steering mock-up.
The pictures aren't that good, but my wife had the camera with here so I had nothing better then my phone.
