Wires everywhere
« on: 17 August, 2010, 12:30:18 PM »
Hi All,

Recently got a hold of an old Shoprider deluxe to convert for my Toylander 2. I got a little carried away and detached a lot of the wires from the main tiller control box without labeling them. Classic mistake I know, made with the classic thought of "I'll remember where these all go when I go to put it back together".. Of course I have since slept and now can't work them all out. Does any one have something similar that they have pictures / or descriptions of what goes where? All I know is:

yellow & orange - either side of potentiometer (fwd / reverse)
white - was in centre, think this was attached to high / low switch (which I want to get rid of)
Green - was reading previous posts and this should be attached to Battery -ve to battery meter (and buzzer)
But am struggling with the rest (brown, blue, red, black)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Nick

Hi again,

Well I fixed the problem with a little trial and error. Thought I would post the wiring diagram in case anyone else gets stuck. There was a high/low switch which I have taken out which would cut into the white wire between the variable speed pot and the throttle pot.

Thanks

Nick
