Gas Toylander II
« on: 13 June, 2010, 02:21:14 AM »
Hi everyone, my name is Hernan, i'm from Argentina. I've been visiting this forum since i got the plans of my new project but i haven't post anything until now. As the subject says, i'm building a Toylander II with a gas engine. A 49cc 2 strokes engine from a minibike. Electric engines are really expensive in here and that's the main reason i'm building it this way (it's been a really hard challenge for me). I'm gonna post same pictures of the project, i have a video from the first time i started the engine.
Well that's everything for now, i'll try to upload some pictures. Enjoy video, i know it sounds horrible (no muffler installed and mixture was bad that's why so much smoke). In the video i broke down the pinion, so i waiting for the new one.

PS: sorry about my english i haven't practise for a long time.

Hi Hernan
Looks like good progress so far, and your English is fine.
How is the engine mounted and connected to the rear axle, chain drive?
Best Wishes
