I started off by using a 1/18 scale model for the basic design and with the help of full size plans
for the toylander 2, more or less made the body shape,with a bit of fiddling about ,Then spending
hours on the internet looking at classified adds for jeeps which tend to have lots of pictures to help with
the detail ,my wife thought I was looking at ladies with no clothes on how sad is that! anyway
The jerry can was made out of a 3 layer sandwich of 12mm mdf with mdf spacers in between the three sides
then sanded and filled, the spout was made from a rubber door stop with a piece of ally for the catch
the two outer sides were then chamfered all round then the diagonal grooves routed on
