Well, that seems to have worked, I'm tired now after all this exhausting brain work.

Tarah for now,

Hi Brian,
God you are having problems.
I was posting this and you seem to have solved the problem! I knew that you could do this Mate, I had confidence you have the skills needed. After all, it was you who told me how to change the picture sizes in 'Photoshop' when I first started on this forum.

I'll post it to help to others, if that's OK with you?

Keep Busy,
Regards,
Mark.

As I've said, I'm no expert, and I have had trouble importing the image code. But I discovered that if you have two internet sites open at the same time, you can switch between the sites and copy from one, and paste to the other.
I'm on 'Broadband', and don't know if it will work with a 'Dial-up' connection.

Firstly, open the Toylander Forum and begin your post in the normal way, then when you are ready to insert the picture, hit the 'Return / Enter' key twice to give you a clear line above your picture.

Then click on the 'Internet Explorer' icon again, mines on the bottom task bar, next to the 'Start' button, or click the 'Start' button again and launch it from there. Then when the second Internet window opens, I click 'Favorites' then scroll down to 'photobucket' and click, this opens the connection, and log in to the site.

Once logged in, you will see the pictures you have loaded, in the top right of the screen there is a panel 'Upload Images & Video' where you can sellect the picture files from your computer. At the bottom of this panel, there is a smaller panel with 'Reduce to' on the left of it, this selects the size of the image to be stored.  I've set mine to 320 x 240 (medium), this allows the pictures to be displayed on this forum as a reasonable size, with the option to 'click to enlarge' added to it to enlarge it on here.

You should have two 'Windows' open now on the bottom Task bar, one will be in-active (dark coloured with 'Post Reply - Microsoft...  visable), and one active (lighter coloured) with your *Username* - photobucket...  visable.

Now put you mouse pointer on the picture and a dropdown menu appears, then you scroll down the menu to the bottom box (IMG Code) and left click on this, after clicking on the box, a small yellow box will appear saying 'Copied'. The Image path is now on your 'clipboard'.

Click on the 'Post Reply' window on the taskbar (switching windows), and the Toylander forum will open up again. Then I just 'Right click' on the open page, scroll down to 'Paste' and the image code is inserted where the 'I' beam typing prompt is.
Press 'Enter / Return' twice more (for spacing), and continue typing.  Remember, the picture is not there until you post the message, just the code.
Simply repeat the process for each picture you wish to insert.

To replace a picture in the forum, click 'Modify' at the top of the post, and the post window opens, then simply find the IMG code, delete it and insert the new code in the manner described (copy from photobucket, switch, paste in forum).

I know this is a bit longwinded, but once you get the hang of opening two windows, and switching between them, it will become easier and clearer I promise.

Have a practice, you don't have to post it, and if you do you can always remove it afterwards.

Bloke with too much time on his hands!

I am glad you sorted it Brian.

I will have to start a photobucket account and see how it works; currently I put all my photos on my personal website - public areas and private areas - and I am currently revamping this website http://www.rubble.info/gallery/gallery.php

I do not know if you can have different albums or you would need to start a different account for each album.

Thank you Anthony, I was getting very frustrated as I think the post's indicated.

I did not replay to the email as I didn't understand the question ::) ;D

Any way, I seem to have got there in the end.

The trouble is my short term memory, It's amazing how soon I can forget something, I can be in mid move from one window to another and by the time the second window opens, Ive forgot what I'm looking for.  sounds funny, but it is not.

Regards,

Brian.
