Hi All, not sure if this should be in materials or custom, but hopefully this will all be come clear.
Materials that are readily available probably influences how we all build our Cars or the modifications we make to them. For me the next project on the back burner is going to be driven

by a set of 16 Inch wheels that came my way. They lend them selves to an early 1900's truck or voiturette Car. This is where the problem starts as i have to work out a way of driving the rear wheels and i'm Wheely stuck for ideas.

All 4 wheels have a built in drum brake, which is great for the fronts not so great for the rears.

When the brake shoes are removed it reveals the brake drum which has a 70mm inside diameter.
My idea so far is to get a sprocket with a 70mm Hub diameter, bore this out to fit over the centre bearing and spindle then some how fit a drive sprocket to this.
Any better ideas welcome please
