Not yet. I'm still trying to find a good deal on a mobility scooter or electric wheelchair. I have had the body finished for a few months now and I'm really anxious to get the project going again.

I have had a look into your picture problem and cannot find a problem with the forum software. The last photos were uploaded without a problem on the 7th January; could you try again?

A test image I have just uploaded below.

What size was your original photo as it is only shown as 130x97 ?

NOTE:
Max attachment size per post:  270 KB
Max size per attachment:  128 KB

Hey, this is Jason's wife, Tabitha, and I was the one trying to get his pics to post, but we're not really sure how to make the pictures any smaller than they are. I tried everything that I know to do, and ended up transferring them to facebook and then into this website. Guess our problem is not knowing how to accurately resize. Any words of wisdom???
Thanks!!!!

Hi
You can do a basic resize in Microsoft paint, which is available on most pooters as part of windows. Open the picture, select Image/attributes (or press ctrl + E) to see what size the picture is (in actual size and size in terms of memory used). Select Image/StretchSkew (or press ctrl + w) to resize (actual size) by changing the % value. Save as a different name so as not to wipe over the original.

Hope this helps

Here is a program that was very simple although it is a bit more confusing than it used to be: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pictureresizer.html

Download it
Left click from where it was downloaded to and drag to your desktop
Left click a photo and drag to the icon and let go ( on Vista I have to confirm run ) then press the enter key to exit.
It will create a new image in the same folder as the original and add -400 to the name so photo will become photo-400
This photo will fit into the forum.

You can make the photo resize larger by changing the program name. It is by default PhotoResize400
Right click icon then select rename and change the 4 to an 8 so it is now PhotoResize800 then click anywhere on the desktop

Your photos will now be twice the size but the file size should still be small enough to fit on the forum.

I hope this is not too confusing.

The maximium image size on the forum is 500px wide 300px high, you want your image to be slightly larger than this as it will get resized when it is uploaded. The maximium file size for each image is 128kb and you should be within this limit.
You can see your image size below the image - (39.23 KB, 204x153 - viewed 9 times.) so you want your original photo you uploaded about 3x larger.

I'm ready to buy a couple of wheelchair motors off of ebay. Has anyone heard of Invacare or Merit?  Are these good motors?

Hi Jason,
'Invacare' and 'Merit' buy Scooters from manufacturers, and have them 'Badged' for their companies.

You will probably find thet their scooters are either 'Shoprider', 'Freerider', or some other big companies product.
Most of the mechanical parts for the scooters are made by one of the big companies, and are (generally) interchangeable to a certain degree.

If you are unsure, then wait, and see if you can find a complete, working scooter to use. You might be better off in the long run.

Hope this has helped,
Regards,
Mark.
