Rileys series 1
« on: 03 December, 2009, 08:17:23 PM »
:) Wouldnt like to say its finished but we have had a good few outings for road test and after some teething problems with steering and help from Richard we now seem to be getting there wherever there is.
We have been on lumpy grass fields, smooth short grass, Lincoln and Newark showgrounds and model engineering exhibitions and have had a great response so much so that mugs of tea have gone cold while we have talked about T/L. We are going to redo the steering wheel over winter as its ok but needs beefing up a bit.

Hi Paul (and Mrs Paul),

All I have to say is "About Bl**dy Time Too!!) Ha Ha).

It looks great Paul, and the paint job is fantastic! Well done Mrs Paul.

I bet the two together (Traction engine and Landy) look great. Try and post a picture of the two together please, there's no rush, yesterday will do!

Keep Busy,
Regards,
Mark.

Dear Mark15  to hear is to obey (sometimes) am looking into it at present, we have got a pic of the 2 together from several months ago so the Landy doesnt have the front grill etc finished. But the engine does need to come out of the garage in the next few weeks so we will try to get them both together espically for you. Probably sometime over Christmas.  ;) ;)

Anyway you cant rush a good project.

Regards your earlier post and ours, Mark have a look in the series 1 gallery. That one was in early June before we were fully mobile.
