Make sure the throttle pedal is mounted at the same angle as the top face of the throttle box. This ensures that the throttle action is smooth and that the pot rod will return fully allowing change of direction. Also make sure the throttle stop is in place, these pots are not cheap to replace when the bottom gets pushed out.
