finished my son's S1 toylander this summer.  thought you guys might be interested to see it.

standard kit.  twin motors with speed control and pivot front axle (as on the db tractor).

strictly speaking not quite finished, need to do rear lamps, number plates and badges.

flikr does not want me link to pics on its site, so heres my flikr page

Hi Daniel
I like the look of you Toylander, nice, glad you've got it finished!  Or at  least usable; as Mark says, they never are truly finished! I'm at the stage of getting the kit for the drive train  up together. Hope to be mobile in the spring! Where in the World, or UK, are you?
You'll get me in the Toylander 2 area usually.
Best Wishes

Thanks for the thumbs up guys  :)

I was keen when building the toylander that it was to look as much like a '48 model as possible, which is why the grill panel is not standard and it has 'dummy' headlamps.  My Grandad turned the headlamps for me from wood to look like 'butler' headlamps as on early 80 inch S1's.  I had a phone call from him last night and he's made the side lamps that go on the bulkhead and the rear 'D' lamps.  So, all being well they'll be fitted by Christmas.  Just working on making a replica mini cast grill badge and maybe some number plates.  Although I might get them from Richard.  I've a big thankyou to Richard as he put me in touch with an old customer who made me the '48 grill.

I'm now thinking of making the trailer, but I've lost the build book ::)
