Number plates
« on: 22 March, 2009, 08:33:04 PM »
Added some photos to my website of the number plates we got for Jenna's Toylander.  These are geniune pressed aluminium (black and silver) number plates, just a bit smaller than the real ones.  Got them from a company in Portsmouth called Framptons.  Here's a link to their website:- http://www.pl8s.co.uk/  They cost the same as a set of full size plates, but I think they're worth it.  They look mint!

Here's a couple of photos of the number plates:-

Stuck them on with double sided tape used for fixing badges and trim on cars.

Hi dale
They're nice, real good finishing touch, they make my vinyl lettering look a bit amateurish now! :).
Nice job
keep tinkering

Hi Mark, on older landrovers, tractors and  traction engines the reg plates are painted on  :) but the pressed ones do look nice.  Still undecided about ours... older one maight paint it on depends how much cash is free when the time comes.
