Hi Brian,

Yes, I know what you mean on both counts.

Any outing is accompanied by lots of children showing interest, parents enquiring about where you bought it, and looking surprised / impressed when you tell them 'I built it' (still the best bit for me).

I know that the initial outlay for a full kit or 'factory built' Toylander is expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for, a quality item!

People don't realise that if you build it in stages, the cost is greatly 'diluted', much like buying 'in installments' through a catalogue / HP agreement.

Even someone like me on a low income (skint) can spread the costs, and have fun doing it too!

Some folk want the earth..... for nothing!

Night Night,
Regards,
Mark.

How about the calls we get thinking a car, shown with an adult and two children riding in it, can be bought for £35?
Best wishes
Richard

I'm not a bit surprised at that Richard from the reaction I got from the guy who asked me to make his son one when I told him the price of two 8x4 sheets of MDF and a few bits from B&Q.

Brian.

Just a test folks to see where these posts are, I could not find them last night and I was going to extract some info to post to a member's question, can't remember thw question now, doh.

Any way, I have a cunning plan to build something else, more later if it gets off the ground.

Regards to all,
Brian.
